Blue Mountain Awarded BPA
Effective July 1, 2005, Blue Mountain was awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement with the U. S. Department of Labor. This BPA extends through November, 2009, offering more favorable services discounts to the Department. For the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA), Blue Mountain is working to modernize existing applications, centralizing disparate Foxpro databases to Oracle 10GR2 using J2EE and c#/ASP.NET coupled with AJAX. The EBSA is an Agency of the US Department of Labor that serves to protect our nation's pension plans through enforcement of ERISA. Development is performed in JAVA, VB/ASP and .NET, using Oracle Enterprise Server, and Oracle Applications Server, supporting the National Office as well as 10 Regional and 5 District Offices throughout the US via WAN.
