With DOL for Over 24 Years
Since 1994, Blue Mountain has provided information technology support services for the U. S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration.
For the EBSA, Blue Mountain assists the agency with applications and database design and development, architectural guidance, document management, investigative case support, system administration, hardware and software configuration, networking and capital planning in support of its mission to enforce ERISA, protecting our nation’s private pension plans. The agency consists of the National Office in Washington DC, as well as 10 Regional and 5 District Offices throughout the United States.
What We Do
Blue Mountain seeks to maximize the use of off-the-shelf software and hardware while developing and integrating web based database applications that provide easier methods of retrieval of business and case-related information.
Blue Mountain develops long-term relationships with its customers, providing rapid deployment of systems with greater database accuracy and integrity. At Blue Mountain, our goal is to meet customer expectations, not only the written requirement. Blue Mountain staff possess substantive background in the design and delivery of web based applications and systems; encompassing government and commercial markets.
Members of the team were responsible for the inception and management of imaging practices at Grumman Data Systems and PRC Inc. (now Northrop Grumman). Many of these systems were designed and developed in-house, facilitating the creation of interface and driver software to allow for custom integration of specialized server and peripheral environments.
Where other consultants have only experienced portions of the system life cycle, Blue Mountain staff have time and again started with initial requirements definition and assisted our customers through prototyping, development, testing, pilot implementation, production and follow-on maintenance, support and upgrades.
