The company is axing Management 2.0 and Java Message Service (JMS) 2.1 from the Java EE 8 road map. HTML5: HTML 5.1 Is Here, Replaces HTML5 As The New “W3C Recommendation”. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has released the official HTML 5.1 specification. In an announcement, W3C said that the specification defines “the 5th major version, first minor revision” of the core language of the World Wide Web: the HTML.
